About Therapy
Interpersonal Psychotherapy is an evidence-based treatment used to treat a wide range of mental health conditions. The purpose of this therapy is to explore the link between mental illness and interpersonal relationships, and to their impact on each other. By exploring this link together, individuals can improve their relationships and wellbeing. This type of therapy offers a flexible approach, allowing individuals to explore themes such as conflict, life transitions, grief, and isolation. I also use aspects of other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing.

You may be curious as to what happens in a therapy session. You may or may not know where to start or what to say. That is completely normal! My aim is to create a safe space where we can explore what brings you to therapy. Having studied interpersonal psychotherapy at a postgraduate level, I really do believe in the results of this therapy, bringing meaningful change for people.

If you are unsure if this approach is right for you, please contact me via the contact form and I will be in touch. Finding the right approach and a therapist you feel comfortable with is so important.
